Terms of Service

Welcome to the Alioth™ Research Terms of Service.
Please read carefully before using our services.

Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms is to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company (Do-best Inc.) and the Members regarding the use of Alioth™ Research services.

Article 2 (Definition of Terms)
  1. Service: Refers to the information provision and features provided through the Company's website.
  2. Member: A person who has agreed to these Terms and completed the registration process.
  3. Post: Texts, photos, videos, and links posted by Members.
Article 3 (Specification and Amendment of Terms)
  1. The Company will post the contents of these Terms on the initial service screen.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms within the scope not violating relevant laws, and will notify Members 7 days prior to the effective date.
  3. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes agreement to the changes.

Chapter 2 Member Management

Article 4 (Conclusion of Use Contract)
  1. The use contract is established by the applicant's agreement to the Terms and the Company's acceptance.
  2. The Company may refuse or terminate contracts for false information or illegal use.
Article 5 (Protection of Member Information)

Members are responsible for strictly managing their ID and password and must not let third parties use them.

Chapter 3 Service Use and Restrictions

Article 6 (Copyright of Posts)
  1. The copyright of the Post registered by a Member belongs to the author.
  2. Members cannot use Posts on the Service for commercial purposes without permission.
Article 7 (Suspension of Service)

The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of the Service in the event of maintenance, breakdown, or communication failure.

Chapter 4 Miscellaneous and Damages

Article 8 (Damages)
  1. If a Member violates the provisions of these Terms and causes damage to the Company, the violating Member shall compensate for all damages incurred by the Company.
  2. If the Company receives various objections, including claims for damages or lawsuits, from a third party other than the Member due to illegal acts or violations of these Terms committed by the Member while using the Service, the Member shall indemnify the Company at their own responsibility and expense.
Article 9 (Exemption of Company)
  1. The Company shall be exempted from responsibility for providing the Service if it cannot provide the Service due to natural disasters, war, suspension of service by key telecommunications service providers, or equivalent force majeure.
  2. The Company is not responsible for any hindrance to the use of the Service caused by reasons attributable to the Member.
  3. The Company is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, etc., of the information, data, and facts posted by Members in relation to the Service.
  4. The Company is exempted from liability for transactions made between Members or between Members and third parties through the Service.
  5. The Company is not responsible for the use of services provided free of charge, unless there are special regulations in relevant laws.
Article 10 (Caller ID Policy and Blocking of Illegal Use)
  1. The Company may strengthen the identity verification process to prevent caller ID spoofing in accordance with relevant laws such as the Telecommunications Business Act.
  2. To prevent damage caused by falsely displayed phone numbers, the Company will immediately suspend the service in the following cases:
    1. When a report of number spoofing is received from the Ministry of Science and ICT or the Korea Internet & Security Agency.
    2. When a caller ID is registered or the service is used by stealing another person's identity.
  3. The information of violating Members may be provided to investigative agencies and related public institutions in accordance with relevant laws.
Article 11 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
  1. In the event of a dispute between the Company and a Member related to the use of the Service, both parties shall negotiate in good faith to resolve the dispute.
  2. If a lawsuit is filed because the dispute is not resolved despite the consultation in the preceding paragraph, the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  3. Lawsuits filed between the Company and Members shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
